The Southampton Greenway will get built because neighbors show up. However you want to help, there’s a place for you.
Become a member of the Friends of the Southampton Greenway. Membership is free of charge. Our newsletter is sent out regularly providing updates to the project and information about upcoming meetings and important events.
This summer MassDOT will hold a public hearing on the 25% design plan. Your voice matters. Attendees to this event can ask questions and hear about the design plans first hand from responsible parties.
Both the Friends of Southampton and the Southampton Greenway Committee hold meetings that are open to the public. We encourage you to come and speak to the members and learn more about the behind-the-scenes work that goes on.
To receive updates about these events, sign up to be a member or follow us on Facebook.
From trail events to outreach, there are hands-on ways to support the project as it moves toward construction. From tabling at community events to helping with outreach, there are hands-on ways to support the project. Sign up as a member and we’ll be in touch when opportunities arise.
Help fund signage, parking, and amenities that federal construction dollars won’t cover. Every contribution goes directly to making the Greenway something Southampton is proud of.
Know someone who’d want to be part of this? Share the project. The more Southampton residents who are engaged, the better the trail we’ll build together.
